My Residency in Ibiza

In 2018 I moved to Ibiza for a 6-month contract in TUI Sensatori Ibiza.

I mainly performed in the Piano Bar, a bar where guests would come to have a drink and relax. Guests were welcome to request any songs they'd like to hear. I would also play in the Sunset Bar, a beautiful bar located on the rooftop with breathtaking view over the Ibiza Sea and as the name would suggest, sunset.

As you could expect, it was a lot more party songs and a lot less background music. I found myself playing a lot of songs that were typical for a pub/club rock band but still worked great with my acoustic guitar and vocal twist. This was a great opportunity for me to become more flexible and not stick to one genre.

The Hotel was based in Cala Tarida, a beautiful location for weddings. I was often asked to sing for ceremonies, receptions and wedding breakfasts.

Apart from the outrageous heat up on the sunset terrace, I loved playing weddings. People were always so excited to see you on their special day and it felt great to be a part of it.

I met amazing guests during my residency, guests I continued to stay in touch with and continued to perform for back in the UK. This always makes me think back of the amazing Ibiza nights performing and the amazing vibes.
